Description

Joe Van Gogh’s Finca El Obraje blend exudes hints of orange, butterscotch, and toffee, along with the richness from this widely-used bean varietal in Central and South America. These beans shipped to Joe Van Gogh from the high altitude and rich soils of the El Obraje farm in Colombia. These beans shipped to Joe Van Gogh from the high altitude and rich soils of the El Obraje farm in Colombia. We first introduced you to Pablo Guerrero’s farm by featuring his geisha variety during the holiday season. Originally an apple orchard, Guerrero transitioned the farm to coffee by applying planting and processing strategies designed for long term health. He was the first to introduce coffee to the Tangua area outside the city of Pasto, with the high altitudes and fertile soil giving his coffee plants a place to flourish. While it was a risky move at the time, others are following in his footsteps.
